The Magdalen College Trust at the University of Oxford supports our student laboratory

The Magdalen College Trust at the University of Oxford is supporting our student laboratory with £450.

The University of Oxford is one of the most prestigious universities in the world, and Magdalen College is one of the oldest and most respected colleges at the university.

Unlike in continental Europe, universities at the traditional English institutions of Oxford and Cambridge are organised into colleges. The University of Oxford is composed of 43 colleges and Permanent Private Halls. At these universities in particular, the colleges serve as the central academic and social units. Students live, study, and conduct research within smaller, well-established communities that function as 'academic communities'.

The Magdalen College Trust serves to “advancing education for the public benefit by making grants to support charitable activities in which…Members are involved”

Since autumn, our member Michael Kopp has been at Magdalen College to do his DPhil in chemistry at the University of Oxford. This has given us the great honour of being supported by one of the best universities in the world.
